I'm excited about seeing you all again! The only thing I'm hatching are Seramas, and I'm not sure that I'll have many ready by then. Later in the spring I should have some.

Isn't he the cutest?? He is one of my breeders this year, so hopefully I'll have some of his offspring for sale later!

I will be there, but I probably won't bring any chickens. I can't wait for mine to start laying regularly again! I'm hoping at least one of mine will go broody and will hatch me a few pretty Olive Eggers...

I am definitely interested in a feed order! Seeing that Modesto has delivered late the last two times, my vote is that we order early... Cari, would you like me to start a list of who wants what? I don't want to step on your toes, but I know you're busy with school and work commitments.

I am so impressed with my chickens. We're moving into our new house today (yay!) and the first thing we moved were the chickens. The property has a large dog run that we're putting them in until we move the coop later today. There's an igloo doghouse in there too which we put pine shavings in, in hopes that they'll recognize it as the laying area. Lo and behold, two out of four girls have already laid. I'm so proud of them. Chickens are so adaptable and resilient. Wow.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

I am looking forward to another meet-up, but February 25 does not work for me at all. The weekend before is a Holiday weekend and there is no school, just a suggestion...

If it is on a different weekend, I will be more than happy to donate mealworms as always....
