San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

Totally different topic...

My mom got me this neat little egg holder for Christmas; it's from the Rachael Ray line. I have some colors all lined up:

Front: FBC Marans
Middle: Barred Rock & Blue Andalusian
Back: Cuckoo Marans

I finally got another big green egg today, which hopefully means my older EE is finished molting.

Its all dried to a certain percentage of moisture prior to baling I seem to remember 15%. Any higher moisture content and the bales will spontaneously combust before it gets to the consumer. Or rot.

I appreciate all the bale information. And regret my cavalier post.

Sorry I am like an encyclopedia sometimes.... I just spew the info I have..... and don't catch on to jokes.... Too many years of educating people about horse care. And now applying new info to chicken care I slip into old habits.

Please add to my post (Flower) that I will be bringing White Am Chicks and hatching eggs for sale or trade. Also Polish bantam chicks and others if they resume laying. Will create something for the raffle table.

Hey guys... I wanted to run this by you all...

I have had AT LEAST 4 more people contact me wanting to place an order.

I know I could get more bags myself along with a couple other people I had to cut short.

What do you guys think about going for two full pallets this time? If we make it to the 100 bag mark shipping will still be $2 per bag. (So no effect)...

I think it's a GOOD possibility we can fill that much!

What say ye!!??!
