Oh man, I am so jealous! Those are SOOO cool!!!!

Thanks Cari. They are pretty neat little characters. The kids had them out this evening and they would just hang out by our feet. They would let themselves get picked up, cuddle and put back down over and over( especially by Noah, my 17month old) and they still never cared to take off or get away. Amazing temperment on this guys.

I have a trio coming in next week that are from Brantly's lines. So it will be interesting to see the differences in the lines.

That's funny. I'm off El Norte too! Right next to the 15 Freeway. Yes, let me know when the other trio arrives, I'd love to see them.

Happy New Year Everyone!!

It's been months since we've seen an egg .... I've dewormed & my 3 girls all seem healthy (eating, drinking, pooping normally) but still not a single egg & I was getting about 2 a day. Does anyone know someone who can process them for me? They are a year old now & been only fed organic (except for the worming medication) and since we got them to be layers I can't keep them as pets as I don't have the space in the city.

Thanks!

If they are just a year old they are still young birds and likely on their winter break. Most of mine are still not laying. Unless you don't want them anymore for eggs I would hold out a bit longer.

If you want them as meat food that is a different matter.

Does anyone know of a good source of (not too expensive) hardware cloth?
I think some of you guys were taking about this a little while ago and knew of some good deals.

Also, if anyone has any to sell I would also be very interested. It does not have to be new either or complete rolls or anything - recycling is good for all (especially the planet

), and need some to go under the coops anyway.
