Just picked FREE trailer up to house my Naked Necks. Lots of windows and cross ventilation.

DH is actually helping. He made a cover for the roof vent that was missing. Look down at the right bottom side, already a pop door for them. :)

Wow, what a score! I hope I'm lucky enough to find something in the next few weeks. My 1-month olds will need a place to stay soon where the adults can't harm them.

Wow Allison! You are the QUEEN of finding cool free stuff!!!

Not only does Allison get a GREAT find, she gets a man to help. You are my idol.

What kind of female persuasion did you use?

I was quite shocked when Dave suddenly offered to fix the roof and he also used the word "we" on many occasions. Nancy, I have no clue as the art of female persuasion.
I think he figured if you can't beat 'em join 'em....and at least they're pets not coming into the house!

I was supposed to come home last night with 6 chicks, but ended up with 13. I now have 24 chicks on my bedroom floor. I have a sneaking suspicion I am learning what everyone calls "chicken math."

So my question is now this: wouldn't it be cheaper in the long run to live in that trailer and put the poultry in the house?
