Cool Carrie!! I can't wait to see them!!

I got a sweet mix of eggs from Dana today, and some American Games from Cara to stick under my giant broody. The Games will go back to Cara, but I get to keep the ones from Dana!

Its time to add a few to my layer flock, so it was perfect timing for a hen to go broody.

Turkey flocks make the coolest noises! They "whistle" to each other to stay close and make all kinds of cool whistles, chirps, peeps, and calls!


It's only when they are older that they get all noisy and start gobbling. We plan on keeping all the girls and only 2 boys to limit the gobbles.
