It is Blue Swedish and it looks to be female.

Well, the cockerels have gone to roost over with WFF and I will say I am going to miss my Blue Cochin Boy. He was a whole lot of sweet boy in a tiny, gorgeously feathered frame. Sigh...not going to miss that Red though...I re-named him Pecker for a reason.

Now, what do I want to replace them with?! Mwahahah...hubs told me to get THREE more! Apparently he is doing the chicken math for me!

Is anyone down her NPIP certified? Any pointers on becoming certified, testing, etc?

PeepsCA has been going through the process. She is in Northern California. You will find her mostly on the Guinea discussion groups. I believe all your birds even the non production birds have to be banded or tagged and tested initially. But thats as much as I know.

A co-worker of my hubby wants to buy "farm fresh" eggs and lives in Chula Vista. He says he is willing to drive "where ever" ... is there a list of people that sell eggs around those parts?

Our gals won't be laying for a bit.
