San Diego Meet-up ***June 8th, 2013***

I am going as well. I will be bringing a BEAUTIFUL Black Rosecomb hen. She is about one year now and I need to rehome her. She is getting abit rowdy for my Seramas so....sniff..sniff....

Hope to be there

we will try to make it. I possibly can bring some BCM hatching eggs or some olive eggers (BCM/EE mix).
If anyone wants to trade hatching eggs let me know. I'm mostly only interested in Marans eggs to trade.

We are coming. I would like some of the grain. I will bring a 5 gallon. We are looking forward to meeting everyone. Have been a viewer for a while.

Will bring chips and salsa. Maybe a chicken (If I can part with any). Have two ducks. Not sure yet.

Well, I realise that, unless I want to BUY eggs, I need to add to my very small flock. I currently have 4 girls that are a little over two years, 2 of them have stopped laying completely (no, they are not moulting)- actually one of then never really layed much anyway,I'd say maybe 2 dozen eggs in her lifetime LOL, But, she's sweet and entertaining...

So, I'm looking for two pullets/point of lay, 5 monts would be perfect ;-) I'm not too fussy on breed, but, do want something that should lay well. My chickens are very spoilt, their "day run" is about 40ftX 40ft, with pepper tree shade, and a large salad bar, organic feed and lots of treats... I have been checking craigslist, but, really would rather deal with someone from this group. I don't want to start with chicks, partly because I would like them laying sooner rather than later, but, the size difference would make integration an issue. While they don;t need to be tame, it would be really nice if they weren't completely feral and unsocialised.

Anyone have any birds to offer, I'm planning on joining the meet-up (first-timer), but, could make other arrangements if that doesn't suit.

There will be lots of birds at the meet up. I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding a couple to take home.

I would love to try some spent beer grain and will bring 2 buckets if there is availability.

Will bring started birds and chicks if people want them (cream legbars, ameraucanas etc, etc)

Do people really want chicks this time of year?
Last meet up I sold ZERO and lots were $5 so not super expensive (gave away a dozen, and swapped some - which was cool)

I am looking for a nice quality black silkie pullet (huge crest and correct toes) for a project. Any out there?

I am looking for 2 heritage rhode island red males that will be 10 weeks old. Younger is OK. Anyone have them? PM me

I'm going to bring a few pullets that just started laying... they are F-2 Olive Eggers who missed getting the blue gene, so they lay brown eggs. I'll probably also bring some well-started (but not yet laying) pullets as well.
