Well.....they may or may not use it...but never too early for a sandbox. They will start to scratch...and its soooo cute!

Nope, don't think so. But they'll instinctively do it themselves, especially when you put new bedding in (with pine shavings, of course.)

I'm thinking of putting sand on the floor of my coop. Will this hurt their feet?
