Sand in the coop!!! What to scoop with????

Just curious as to how everyone using sand as litter was scooping out the poop??? Would be cool is there was some giant pitchfork like cat litter scooper!!! Just wanna be working smart not hard ! Thanks for the comments!

Go to your local farm store and pick up a plastic stall cleaning fork scoop.. Works great for tons of stuff!! Hope this helps ya out!!

There is a 42" cat litter scoop called the Goliath

Not too hard to tape a litter scoop to an old broom handle.

Go to Petsmart or Petco and get a dog pooper-scooper. They have a small rake and little shovel like thing, works great. Rake it up and dump poop into a pail to take to the garden.

I use a metal reptile litter scoop that work great. I have been toying with bending hardware loth over a stall fork or something like that so i can have a bigger scoop but not sure yet.

I use a large plastic kitty litter scoop, works great!

When the pan's full, I empty it right into the composter.

I'm going to have some leftover aluminum mosquito screen from another project, and I'm toying with the idea of building my own larger version of the repitle litter scoop from this material.
