What I want............hmm, hubby and I don't exchange so I haven't really thought much about it. I'd love a new computer.

Working this Christmas Eve, night shift. Guess we'll celebrate Christmas Eve morning, just us, and maybe my mom. Won't be a big deal, gotta go to bed by noon so I can be prepared for the onslaught at work!
As far as what I want,

Never give it much thought. New flooring, maybe?

Having my daughter & S.O. out with the grandkids on Christmas Eve. For the first time ever, DW & I are home along on Christmas day! The following weekend, it's up to my hometown for Christmas with my parents and sister.

What do I want? A good job for my daughter, happiness for my grandkids, and an egg-collecting basket for me.

Oh, and a 1966 Les Paul Standard with tiger maple.

For my mother to relax and understand that the kids aren't expecting a ton of stuff, or even much of anything, this year because they understand how bad everyone is hurting. She's such a wreck and spending money that she should be using for bills

I doubt she will relax.... but I still hope

wake up and feast on leftovers that Oma makes us take home.

I want a diamond nose stud to replace the swarovski crystal one that is in there., if I dont get that well ... Ill just settlew for world peace and health and happines to all my friends.

Our Christmas is always spent alone, and will be an evening service. Then Christmas Day, open presents with the cats, then drive up to Provincetown to have Christmas dinner, then a west facing beach to watch the sun go down. Traditional Christmas hymns on the whole time.

Christmas eve - Fondue with family and friends at my mom's house; Christmas day-open presents at home (not going to be many as we have already received our gifts -new guitar for DS; two new dogs for the family), then everyone gathers here for a typical dinner. DS friends/bandmates are coming over, so hopefully they'll play us some music (not your typical Christmas carols, I'm sure). No one has to travel far as all my family lives on the same property! Makes it nice if you forget something!
As far as what I want, I have it - health and happiness, loving family, good friends and lots of laughter.
Wishing you all Happy Holidays!
Liz

I hope your DW has deep pockets!

Nope. She has told me many times I can go ahead and buy it, but I can't justify spending almost $3,000 when she usually spends a maximum of $5 on yarn at WalMart.

A guy can hope though. I just know if I had that Les Paul, I would play as good as Clapton, Page, Vaughan, etc...
