All of Santa's reindeer are females because males loose their antlers in the winter, and have you ever seen a picture of santa's sleigh being pulled by hornless reindeer?
Oh besides Rudolf. He can just shed his horns because he's obviously a guy.

This is actually very interesting, so I looked it up. I read that male caribou shed thier antlers after mating season, and females shed their antlers after giving birth, so theoretically, you are right!

I always assumed Vixen at least was a girl, because the only male Vixen I can think of is a character in my story.


But yeah, I guess they all could be females.

Yeah, I always thought of Dasher, Dancer, Vixen, and Prancer as being female and the others being male . Also, you have a story?! Cool! You didn’t happen to post it anywhere on BYC, did you?
