Sapphire Gem In PA

Hi, i have 2 sapphire gem cockerels, would keep them but already have too many. They are about 5 months old and nice to people. $5 bucks apeice. I am located in Manheim PA. PM me if interested. Thanks!

Not near you, or in would come get the birds, they're beautiful! I just read about this breed in another thread and had never heard of it. What do you cross to get this color?

It is a Czech breed I believe it has some Andalusian blue lines in it. Those pics are a bit old, their combs are HUGE now for their size. The hens are even more pretty, they are not barred.

Yes, they came from Hoover's the Czech thing came from their website. My dad picked them up at tsc and didn't know the were sex linked so we ended up with 2 SG cockerels, one SG hen and a sapphire olive egger. No clue how that one got in the SG bin
