I went to a local tractor supply and got 5 chicks. They were in a bucket labeled sapphire gem pullet. Honestly I don't trust stores with sexing so could anyone help out? And I also seen a post when researching them where a lady was asking if it was an olive egger or not. Curious as to what would be the difference in the chicks as mine look like the one she posted.

Sorry, the pictures wouldn't post the first time and also about how old do you guys think they are?

I'm guessing, based on mine 2-3 weeks. They are the only things that grew faster than my daughter lol... I have 4 and they are now 15.5 weeks old. Enjoy the chicks! They grow up so fast. Pretty soon they'll be yelling at you to bring them a treat or food, or getting mad when you try to pet them...

As far as the sex goes, the males are supposed to have white spots on their heads at birth and barring of the feathers. I thought one of my pullets was a cockerel because of her feathers, but it was just her lacing (they really can have some beautiful feathers).
