Sapphire??

I don't think these came from me but if the WL is a cross you will get colored chicks. Since WL is dominate white even with one copy they will look like a white leghorn with some leakage usually. I have had some WL/Ex crosses in my pens but I try to disclose that when I sell eggs. The chicks that were produced were either white (like a Sapphire should be) or looked like a CCL. Not sure why they were sexable and looked like a CCL from a WL/EX cross but they did. Sapphires are not from EE or Ams... only come from CCL. Sapphires should be white and may or may not have a crest. These chicks will still be a good layer of blue eggs. Really any Blue Egg layer cross with a WL makes a Super Blue Egg Layer... some crosses are better layers than other and in my opinion CCL is the better cross. Ams would not be a good cross.
