I'm not presuming to answer for PotterWatch. This is my opinion only. My personally-held beliefs aren't separate from MY decision-making. They also don't affect a whole nation of people and their civil liberties, unlike a person who happens to be in high public office.​

Ah, but see, that's the beauty of the Constitution. It is so fundamentally sound that it allows for the changes you mentioned. What it doesn't allow for is the 'evolving paradigm' that means twisting words to erode our rights further, which is what so many 'liberal thinkers' are trying to do currently. The founding fathers were wise well beyond their century. If only more understood that we'd be much better off.
