I bought fertile eggs and placed them under my hen who desperately wants to be a mamma. What happened was she happily Sat on them the first day . we failed to collect the eggs from the other nest boxes the next day in the morning. Checked in her late afternoon and she was sitting on the wrong eggs. I quickly took her and made her comfy in her own little coop back on the correct eggs. My question is if she only warmed them for 24 hours and they cooled, are they still viable? She is happily staying in them now. It's been another 24 hours.

This early along they should still be ok. You should have set her up by herself in a broody pen. That way she couldn't get to other nesting boxes, nor could other hen's lay an egg in her box.
Yea I kinda figured that out pretty quickly. Last time I will make that mistake. Thank you!
