Thanks Aleida for the swap! I managed to sell some chickens and not come home with any new ones, or cats, or alpacas, or rabbits, etc., etc., etc.

It was great meeting new people and the weather was absolutely beautiful.

I did not have time to get on at all Saturday or Sunday so I just now got back to this thread. It was a good swap. Sold enough birds to make it worthwhile to haul them all down. I've now nearly saved enough to order all of the parts to build a Whizbang.

Many thanks to Vickie of Sunshine Silkies for the pretty little splash chicks she sold the Kinder Major. They integrated with the chicks she hatched last week just fine.

Today I sound like you did on Saturday Cmom! I've had this congestion bug for over a week, but last night it came out with a vengeance so this morning I'm croaking.

Boy I hope I didn't give that bug to anyone. I really tried to keep some distance. I'm getting my voice back now slowly. I haven't been sick in years. This bug caught me off guard. I just got a pneumonia shot and was going to get my flu shot, but when I called the Dr. she said wait until I get over this bug.​

We are going to have another swap sometime after the new year. I have had my fire pit ready for over a year. Maybe we can use it and roast some hotdogs, marshmellows and whatever.

No, I had it already. For the last two weeks in fact, but this weekend it went into overdrive.
