Look at the sugar in a soda. No nutritional value what so ever. Awful for your teeth. Is it candy? I think not. Think about the sugar free hard candies. Are they still candy if they don't have sugar? Yes, they are hard candies. Just because something has or doesn't have sugar in it doesn't determine what it is. And for the record, DH said no and DS said maybe, it depended. He's 14, what does he know anyway!

That is why it is labled as sugar free candy, because anyone that looked at it would say its sugar free so its not really candy, its a candy substitute. So no its not real candy, but they put it in the candy section because there is no OTHER section at the grocery store.
