Penny, thank you so much for your help. Vet said it is not broken or dislocated. Xrays done from every angle. After a shot of steroids and advice on warm epson soaks Rossie is doing a lot better. Actually placing his leg down for short periods of time and moving

a lot better.

So, I dont know if this will help anyone but our get recommended soaking his leg thigh to tie in epson salt water. We took and ice cube tub for the freezer and tied an old shirt over and unser and cut a slot just big enough for his bottom to fit in. It worked and he seems to like it. Sorry the pic isnt great. The tub is about 12 inches long by 8 deep by 6

wide.
