Saved some ducks, have a few questions.

Oh and, my daughter rigged them up a shower the other day, they were in love :-D Especially Duke!

Even with them being housed outside now they still get drug into the house and front yard to be played with, and I'm so happy about that! (I'll have to get you guys some pics of their new home.)

So adorable!! Looks like Duke is really enjoying this.

They are so wonderful. Ducks and geese make me smile all day long. Love to watch their playing and grooming..
Wonderful pets that just make us smile.

Oh..I finally got a pic of my crested appleyard...
His pompom hangs down on the side of his head.



This duck's pompom reminds me of the french soldiers of many years ago... had a pompom on the side of their heads. His pompom flops all over and he is
quite funny to watch. But it is not on his head like other ducks..

Here are 2 ducklings I actually took out of the eggs. Heard the eggs peeping when I cleaned out the duck house. The ducks had pushed the eggs away from the nests
so I was going to get rid of them until I heard ducklings asking to be let out. The ducks have rejected them so I have decided to raise them with the kittens in the
house.




The kittens love the ducklings and actually wash them... they also cuddle up together. It is precious to see.

That is adorable. Thank goodness you heard them peeping. They are all pretty.

Yes they are but this little yellow fellow, I put outside with the other ducklings and ducks and he won't have
anything to do with them!

He persists to follow me everywhere I go and remains only a step or two behind me. He does not want to
stay with the ducks..

Because I got him out of his egg, do you think he sees me as his "mother" now?

Here he is having a snooze with the kittens and mama cat...
I named my duckling Fido. Guess a have a new pet.

He persists to follow me everywhere I go and remains only a step or two behind me. He does not want to stay with the ducks.. Yep imprinted on you but you can keep trying as the duckling gets older my imprinted drake finally made it to the outside with everyone by the time he was 10 weeks old I just kept taking him out every day 2-3 times and letting him be around everyone I stayed right there to make sure no one picked on him. That is such a precious pic. And mama cat doesn't mind the duckling at all?

I put "Fido" outside. That is my little yellow duckling and finally he decided to get a taste of real duck life with his new found friends and of course the mama ducks take good care of him BUT, he will not go in the duck house for the night. Follows me to the house and comes in for the night. He is growing fast but loves to be cuddled in blankets at night. I am really happy he is getting the best of both worlds. Frolicking and chasing bugs all day and sleeping soundly in softness during the night. He also lays on my foot. LOL
