Saw my goat do the happy goat dance today

Today I finished my goat fence. The 3 girls moved from a small pen attached to a run in shed to a 1/2 acre grassy field with a
dairy barn. Stella the oldest did the happy dance. She reared up, turned sideways a bit, looked at me and put her head down like she wanted to play.
Her next move was to run and leap in the air with a twist. She did this for about 10 minutes.

I was afraid she was going to ram me in fun. She is a Nubian without horns.

I miss those days when my goat used to run and buck. Now that he is 24 years old he just slowly walks around!

I know right. I bought them at the end of June. It had taken me this long to get their fence done.
She was just so happy to get into a big field. It made me feel really good.

I call that hippin-skippin.. that is the best .. especially great when goat kids are tearing around and doing aerial acrobats but even more enjoyable watching big lumoxes of adult goats do it.. one of the many enjoyable moments of goat keeping!
