Not my saxonys but my runner Floss has this morning laid 3 eggs! Superr proudd!!

Anyone get any new Saxony ducks yet?
I’m waiting to see what comes out of a neighbors incubator next month. Also expecting hatches from a couple 4-H club Saxony projects we donated to.
Has anyone supported / worked with their local 4-H clubs to try and support additional Saxony breeding programs?

Hey everyone! I’m starting my flock of chickens and ducks come May.

I’ll be picking up 2 ducklings a WH and 1 Saxony duckling. I am super excited and picked the Saxony for looks and egg laying capability (hoping for female)and I’m just so lucky enough that there will be some at my local critter market event.

I’ll post pictures as soon as I get them!

I'm planning on incubating my duck eggs this year. This will be my first year doing duck eggs so I'm pretty excited about that. Though I have WH and Saxony and currently they are all together so there's a high chance of mixes. I may or may not separate by breed. If the drakes don't fight too much, I'd rather keep them together.
