While looking for saxony ducklings i came across this ad which troubles me ... the yellow seems right but the darker ducklings seem too dark to me ... so could anyone identify what breed they are ???

Either Rouen or dark phase Appleyard .

They can be both colours...Even Appleyard Ducklings
I bred Appleyard..Look just like all of those.

While i have a saxony drake i want to get him a friend or two but i dont want to cross bred him !!!

The sex of these ducks has me confused ... while the seller is insistant that the 2 older one are definitely female ... the neck ring and colouring of the older 2 suggest males !!!
Is it possible they are discoloured due to a recessive gene !!!

are you able to hear the two quack? that would be the best way to prove it.....
