Grew up w/ parents having chickens. Husband did not want chicken. Started my own this year. Dad helped w/ hutch/coop, e-mail wanted someone to come get this chic. Did not know bread or sex, but first come got it. Found out it is a Polish Crest chic. Suggestions said her, but I had other thoughts. Chick Chick turned out to be Chick-a-Roo. Now have two hens, Roo-him, rabbit, fish, three cats, dog, two Cockateels, par of Love birds and 6 of their babies.
Live w/ my special needs 24 yr. old son and animals that make my day livable. Volunteer at the Boise Zoo for fun out of the house. At the house everything gets done by one person, me. Outside work, putting in a walk way in front yard (picture when done), w/ a garden, chicken coop, peach tree, grape vines. Dad comes over to mow the back & front, w/ grandson : )! Inside is kept up by "The Cleaning Lady", ME! My day"s are never boring.
