Scaly leg mites?

I have a few older hens suffering from bumblefoot (that’s why there is a bandage around her foot) but was wondering if anything else is wrong? Her foot has been kind of peeling and werid so I was wondering if this is minor scaly leg mites or something else? Or hopefully it’s normal? I just want to be sure! By the way this is animal safe nail polish my little sisters friend thought it would be fun and the chicken is super friendly and ok with it

To me it just looks like scales on a mature/aged bird. I'd just keep an eye on it.

You can. Its really not necessary, a bit of dirt is natural.... but if you want to it will do no harm.

I agree, it looks like it may be age related. If the scales and feet are a bit dry and peeling, it will not hurt her at all to rub a little vaseline into and under the scales of the legs and feet.

I agree, if you are going to give her a pedicure anyway doesn't hurt to put on some Vaseline or Nustock ointment.
