I don't know what country you're in but generally it's sold at livestock produce stores, anywhere you can buy a range of livestock feeds and products, you should also be able to buy pine tar.

You can buy it online too but that can get expensive. I go for the pure and undiluted stuff, some of the other ones have additives that I consider unnecessary, but clearly they work for some.

I my rooster has scaly leg mites but we're treating it with all that's been suggested. It wasn't until this week that we found he had two identical huge lumps on the back of his hock (back knees) We smothered it with Vaseline and it felt like it was coming off. Sure enough it did within two days. Only managed to find one. Don't know what happened to the other piece.
What do you think? Part of his scaly leg mite condition or something else? His hocks are red now.
