Scandinavia

I would maybe look just for general cold weather coops, since I am not sure how many Scandinavians we have on the BYC.

You are farther north than I am, I am at Latitude 59, which I think runs through Oslo. I stay pretty warm though, since I am hit by the warm water from Japan.

The best things that I have found with my chickens, is to have the coop connect to the greenhouse!

It is interesting, MANY people here in Alaska have their coop connect to the greenhouse.

Here is my coop page:

The question was more of a conversation starter, and to see what others have put together, just for fun. This thread was more of an attempt to find out how many Scandinavians are lurking about BYC.

You seem to have quite the compound there, nice job. At some point I was toying with the idea of having a huge greenhouse where the whole coop and run would be located, that would be pretty cool. But maybe a bit hot during the summer.

Ah, I don't really get hot, I am too close to the water and on the edge of a mountain so I get lots of wind.

All I have to do is open a window and the wind blows all of the heat away.
