Scary Bator

They had several to choose from. I picked the med priced one. ($11.00)
It's a Bimetal Themometer & Grommeter. It looks like a meat themometer to me. It has a stick probe w/ a round gauge on one end.
Do you know if these are good to use?

I can try to post a pic later, but photobucket has not been letting me download pics lately. Don't know if it's my computer, internet service or photbucket??????

Here's Brower's phone# 1-800-553-1791 if you want to give them a call. Hope this helps.

I don't have one, but I would use it if I did, it seems like a great incubator.
You might want to give these people a call at Rocky Top General Store. They say at the top of the page that they have some parts in stock for this incubator and some out of business incubators..

Thank you! I will take all the advice I can get! I hope to have my hatching eggs line up for shipment soon. I can't wait!

I would love an incubator like yours. I may have to get one in the future, but can't jusify it right now since this Brower works & my sister is suppose to be sending me a new of hers that she's never used.

I changed the water pan in mine because the original was too small and did not provide enough surface area to keep humidity up. If you are using a DRY INCUBATION technique it is adequate.

Thanks! I haven't tested the humidity yet, but plan on doing it before hatching. Maybe I'll have to use the pie pan. I appreciate all the advice, b/c hatching is new to me. I have plugged it up and the good ole thing heated right up and held steady. I'm thrilled! Have you used yours lately for hatching? I can't wait to give a whirl.

BTW: Congratulations on your new mod title.

Thanks for letting me know! Do you have any bids yet? Why are you selling it.

I actually bought a Lyon TX7. I'm about to put some eggs in it tonight to try it out for the first time.

I saw one just like Justusack at the SWAP in Waterloo last weekend and came so close to buying it. He had it suped up w a fan and an auto turner. I like it b/c it's bigger than ours and can hold more eggs.
