Scary Bator

I have plenty of birds mine are 8 weeks old now see I also have 2 lyons tx-6 that I eggs in right now I set one batch day before yesterday at 6:30 p.m. and I am putting the other batch in tomorrow morning Im letting the bator warm up

Don't you just love your TX6? I hope the tx7 does well for me. I just love it so far. The temp has been holding like a dream, but I had to learn how to get the humidity just right. I've had it booted up since fri night playing with it. The only problem is trying to read the mercury themometers. It's a little hard to see them.

I also have eggs in the "Scary Bator" to. I'm pretty excited that the old thing works. Hand turning isn't so bad.

yes that is it the one i started with , i did do well with it , i loved that old rusted thing the only thing i did to clean mine was to squirt it down with a spray bottle of light bleach water making sure to avoid the heating element the screen i took out and sprayed heavy then after letting it dry for 24 hr i started it plug it in put the pan almost full of water in center bottem i see it has one , place screen layed on top over it and heat rods you will have to place a temp. themonoter on in side i layed mine on screen or cliped on the inside, close lid leave it alone for awhile there is a light that goes on, and on the top of lid while in use after about a hour check temp if to low turn the little metal L screw on the top untill light goes on check temp again in HR you can keep doing this temp regulation by turning L screw to light on hotter otherway light off cooler and checking it . Now when you got temp right let it run all night check temp in morning if all is correct top off your water pan you can pour water threw the screen put eggs in leave 24 hr . i just rolled my eggs around with the palm of my hand 1 to 3 times a day . a day before hatching i did not roll but i did top of water pan pluse add another small pan of water
