Rose is a novel, Virus is a short story... both involve a painting.

And being King I'm sure you can imagine they're good and weird.

It made me think of Harvey immediately. Not scary to me just.......not my kind of decor.

I LOVE Harvey! If you haven't seen the movie, you should, maybe it would make the painting less creepy. I hope somebody in your family overcomes their aversion to it, it's a great family heirloom with a great story. You should keep it around.
