Scary, scary have any of you heard ANY of this??

Check out fairtax.org - that site will answer your questions - it does take into account SS tax, etc., so that you don't have to pay more than one tax, like we do now (SS tax, medicare, etc.). Passing the Fair Tax would require that the 16th amendment be repealed, (This Amendment allows the Congress to levy an income tax without apportioning it among the States or basing it on Census results.)

If we had the Fair Tax system, we would not be in the fianancial straits the country is undergoing now. But like I meant to say, "don't drink the Kook-aid," meaning don't believe anything you hear unless you research it for yourself or you know it to be in accordance with what you know to be true.

Forty percent of my salary is federally funded. I work for a Title IV Center at a university. We are careful stewards of the grant funds we receive. We're respectful of how we use them and we report out 4x/year on our initiatives. Without that federal grant, my job, and the programs I manage, would not exist.

I hate that my tax dollars go toward wars. But they also go toward infrastructure and education, items without which our country would not be able to thrive.

And banks,$400,000.00 to the arts, 5 billion + to Acorn ( just some that are already added to the new stimulas), roads to nowhere and a woman that chose to have 14 children. They need to stop all pork belly spending. The American people are,so you'd think the government would. I guess it's easier to spend other peoples money.
Remember the states that didn't want to raise the drinking age and do seat belt laws? The government just refused them highway money until they caved in. Wyoming and Montana were the 2 I know of. So even if state law supersedes federal, they have there ways.
Wyoming wouldn't have much in the fruit or veggie department. But we'll bring the beef to the BBQ.

I used to think that people talking about those black helicopters were nuts, until I saw one. It came straight up out of a canyon. There is no road down there, and if someone tried to hike down there it would take them a week to get down there.

Now what it was doing down there, I don't know. My kids thought that they were probably growing marifufa down there. But, there are a lot of easier places to grow dope.

Then we saw one land in an isolated spot up on the rim. White young guys with buzz hair cuts got out of it. Again, we have no idea what they were doing there, but we didn't want to be part of it, so we left rapidly.

Rufus

yeah, me too when we lived in northern AZ, thats one scary looking bird when it rises straight up from no where!

Fortunately meat contains all the vitamins and nutrients required by the body with the exception of vitamin C. That is easy enough to get from things like rhubarb, wild strawberries and greens.

You had better hope you kill that meat with a bow or a sledge hammer because I just got back from the gun shop to get some new tips for some arrows and Todd (the owner) told me that he has gotten paper work in the last 2 weeks letting him know that within the next 3 months he will be required to file registration forms on any ammunition sales, has to have name-address-and drivers I D #, on everyone buying any ammo, how much and what kind you bought. And within 6 months that ammo taxes will be 500% of sales price. So a box of 44 magnum shells that cost $30 will be $180 with the tax. On the way home I went into wally world to get a bag of wood chips and walked back to the gun case to check out their ammo prices and asked the section manager if they had gotten any paperwork about all that and he said yep, they got theirs about 2 weeks ago also.
obama has already said that he would not ban guns for private citizens, so this is his way of making sure that although you can still own that gun, you won't be able to afford to use it for anything more than a club to swing or throw at something. And check out the price of primers now, for reloading your own shells, the price has skyrocketed now too.
So you may think some of the folks in the origional post are nuts, but you had better be watching out for what is going on here and now, You may be looking for those nuts as you call them to come and protect you before long.
