Today is a half day of school. Praise the Lord!! I am so ready for them to get out of the house. But I found out some things while there. #1 they are charging the kids who drive $10.00 a year for a parking permit, but not the teachers. That doesn't sit well with me the teachers should pay too. #2 they made it a smoke free campus. Now that I understand but we are in tobacco country here. It seems to me(yes I am a smoker) that they are treating tobacco as a illegal substance. I wish they would focus more on the real illegal substances out there. They are getting this thing backwards in my opinion. After all, tobacco raising has put many a country kid through college etc. Plus the principal at our school thinks that if you smoke you are a bad person and are going to hell. Smoking doesn't make you a bad person, if it did then I know alot of bad people who had better pack their eternal luggage for the unspeakable. Just thought I'd vent a little. Gotta go get the kids here in a minute. Anyone else got anything to add, go ahead on. I just don't want this post to turn into an arguement like some other posts have done.
