Scorpion question for anyone in the Las Vegas area

If she does get stung, a paste of baking soda and water on a damp piece of kitchen towel helps relieve the pain quickly.

We live in the desert but I have seen less than five scorpions in the house. They are around but seem to be very reclusive.
