I'm going to hatch a little white silkie chick and want to name it a Scottish name but can't think of a good one, any ideas?

Any of these?

Murdock, Gordon, Douglas, Niall, Oscar... for roos

Iona, Nessie (short for Agnes), Marsali, Arabella, Sorcha... for hens

Fiona actually means 'White' so that might be a good match.

Ailpein means blond for a boy.. or Alpin

Fingal -white stranger
Finlay- white warrior
Finnegan- white headed

Aileen- bird

Finola- white shoulder

The name probably represents a Latina feminization of Fionn, meaning "white." However, the word fiona in Gaelic means "wine." It is pronounced FEE uh na, though, not like the name, which is generally pronounced fee-OH-na.

ETA: Wifes Scottish heritage keeps this info at my fingertips..... Yay Gailbraith Clan!
