I am planning on entering in two of my black Muscovy drakes in a show soon. The other day I was talking to a judge about muscovy drakes, and he said that they don’t often get taken out of the pen due to the high risk of injury to the person. Because of that I won’t need to really worry about getting them used to being handled, and if they do get handled it’s by their wings.

Do you think my black drakes are almost old enough to be shown? They hatched in September last year. And they are still a bit small but that’s because their mums and dad are small.

The dad. Or dusty a black mutt (he was all kinds or colours) drake I had before could be the dad.

To me they are gorgeous and this gives you an opportunity to see how the judges will like your drakes I say it’s worth entering them.
I will do it, I’ll have to begin pen training them again. As the show is next month.

I know nothing about what makes a show ‘Scovy a show ‘Scovy, but your boys are very handsome!:love
Thank you I shall tell them.

Also, would you say that this duck is pied (less than 30% colour) or black and white? Also, sorry it’s an old picture.
