Screaming Goats

Yep BioMycin is stingless...Ha...ask me how I know...yes if it oxidizes it can sting but mine yell for a few minutes and then back to normal. Its the injectable wormer that stings and burns...ask me again how I know...I think I have been wormed and medicated and everything els there is in injections...most all sting and then some goats dont seem to bother a bit but I do have some drama queens out there too...they carry on for about 20 minutes and throw themselves down too...No its normal for some and the others will do the same if they see them do it too...or run...lol... Hang in there...also if you need to give a IM shot the neck is the place to give it...just put hand in a v over the neck and give in the muscle...so easy and dont it any nerves either like in the hind leg. Just a thought...Congrats to your drama queens...

I'm glad I saw this post earlier this morning. We drew blood on my goats today to send in for their yearly CAE/Brucello test. One of my girls started hollering like she was dying. I just smiled and we finished without any issues.

Yes, probio's are great for that. I get the powdered kind and use it anytime one of the animals are on antibiotics. Even the cats.
Goats can be real drama queens when it comes to shots and hoof trimming.
