She sure is!! Thanks Kathy. Peep is very happy now.

Braclin I am so glad Sarah had those new babies.. the rest of her babies are much bigger than Peep so it was perfect. And I am glad I was able to help get Peep some new friends. That lavender is so soft....I was constantly picking that one up and holding it and the little mottled well it is very spoiled thanks to Cheyenne...she loved that one too pieces but I assured her you would spoil it and love it...

Peep looks so happy to have friends, its little face seems to be smiling in that last pic.

Seeing those chicks made me realize that my little "squashed chick" is missing. I haven't seen him in a couple days and haven't noticed any of my white leghorn/giant girls doing the fluffed up broody cluck. Wonder if he finally got taken by the hawk? Or maybe he just died in the yard somewhere? I noticed him peeping an awful lot lately.....momma was getting tired of taking care of him. I should have tried to catch him and stick him into the baby pen but he has been out in the big yard since he hatched and I thought he might do okay.

Sigh.

You'd think I would notice a bird going missing but I got home after dark the last few days and just locked up the coop after everyone was already in. Darn it.
