I just went to narrowgatepoultry.com. Something about that title made me wonder.
Kathy, ask her WHY there would be feathers on the shanks. If she can't come up with a genetically sound reason, then either these people do NOT know what they are doing, or THEY have been misled by whoever they got their stock from, or they are cheating people and need to read their own Bible quotes on their site.
Sorry, but I get SO mad at people who quote the Bible and don't act on it. I am not a perfect person by any way shape or means, but I get really angry at people who claim to be Christian and do this sort of thing- the stink rubs off on the rest of us who are trying our best to follow Christ.
"Be angry but do not sin". Sorry, off my soap box and back on the topic.
Is there ANY birds used in the development of the Coros that would be responsible for the leg feathers? Is any one else breeding them complaining about that? If that is so, then people need to cull more seriously, or warn the people that buy eggs that this may happen. If not, if there is no reason for the feathering, then this person needs to do something to make this good. NOW.
