Thanks for all the kind thoughts. It is nothing horrific, actually something I've suspected for years. Funny how the doctors never listen, eh?

PCOS, so went back on one pill and added another plus going to try something else. And the usual "diet and exercise will help control it".

Off to go "play chickenlands" as my boyfriend calls it. He also likes to say its CHICKEN SNORE TIME lol.

I so hope you and the doctor can keep it well controlled with medication, diet and exercise. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I got me a new pair of winter boots at the thrift store out at the base yesterday! Brand spanking new, never been worn and just $5.00!!

Water proof and Thinsulate lined too!!

And 'Milio HATES them!!

Though I do believe he likes the zipper tab on them. He certainly spent an inordinate amount of time trying to tear them off of my feet last night while I was cuddling Chief.

Speaking of Chief: We now have a new nightly ritual at bedtime. As usual, I give everyone a brief cuddle and check them over for any signs of anything being amiss. Once that's done, instead of just receiving about 15 or 20 minutes of cuddles and conversation from his roost in the coop, Chief now wants and requires a ride on mama's shoulder. And where does he want to go? Why, right under the heat lamp hanging from the ceiling of course!! Once there, he lays down on my shoulder, whispers sweet nothings in my ear and soaks up as much of the heat from the lamp as he can get. He's healthy as an Ox, but who in their right mind wouldn't love the warmth of a heat lamp on them in the middle of a bitterly cold night? He's one smart boy, my Chief!

Been a busy week but finally off today. The chicken crew are all doing well here. Bout time to take the silkie babies outside. I have started to get a egg a day here after months of nothing, lol

Don't get me wrong. I adore my girls too. But, my boys are very, very special to me! Probably because each and every one of them is the absolute antithesis of the reputation roosters have undeservedly gained over the years. They're all sweetie pies in their own individual ways. I've only ever had one boy that I had to re-home due to conflicts of interest. Here's hoping I never have to do that again, cuz the one and only time liked to break my heart in two to have to do so.

YAY BRANDON!!! You go my friend! And do let us know how the dreams are! I've heard that they can be quite hmmmm....entertaining?

I'll be following your blog too as this is something I'm seriously considering [the Chantix] but I don't know yet if I can take it while I'm on the other prescriptions that I currently have to take. I'll be hoping and praying for you my friend. It will be so wonderful to see yet another of my friends be able to get that dang 800 pound gorilla off of their backs!
