Nella,
I did some reading up on the PCOS. Oh sweetie!
I so hope you and the doctor can keep it well controlled with medication, diet and exercise. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I got me a new pair of winter boots at the thrift store out at the base yesterday! Brand spanking new, never been worn and just $5.00!!
Water proof and Thinsulate lined too!!
And 'Milio
HATES them!!
Though I do believe he likes the zipper tab on them. He certainly spent an inordinate amount of time trying to tear them off of my feet last night while I was cuddling Chief.
Speaking of Chief: We now have a new nightly ritual at bedtime. As usual, I give everyone a brief cuddle and check them over for any signs of anything being amiss. Once that's done, instead of just receiving about 15 or 20 minutes of cuddles and conversation from his roost in the coop, Chief now wants and requires a ride on mama's shoulder. And where does he want to go? Why, right under the heat lamp hanging from the ceiling of course!! Once there, he lays down on my shoulder, whispers sweet nothings in my ear and soaks up as much of the heat from the lamp as he can get. He's healthy as an Ox, but who in their right mind
wouldn't love the warmth of a heat lamp on them in the middle of a bitterly cold night? He's one smart boy, my Chief!
Chicken Chore time! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Oh! And Cyn? How is Reba doing? Inquiring minds would like to know! Hopefully, there is good news to share???
