I buy packages of colored zip ties (they come in MANY sizes) for $1.19 a pkg. I get very tiny ones.




I also buy plastic leg band of various sizes at Cutler Supply....

Something is weird about this hatch. The chicks are not coming out as the eggs are labeled. I just hatched a buff (?) colored looking chick out of an egg labeled "white." I am banding them according to how the eggs are marked, and I am gonna contact the seller and ask questions.
