Kathy, I love the pics!

I hope everyone is doing ok in the heat. It is even hot here...mid 90's and humid. I thought I lost one of the Delawegger babies the other day. I looked all over for her but could not find her. I went back out a couple of hours later and was checking on everybody and heard this pitiful chirping. I found her under a feed dish that I use to put scraps into. Somehow it had flipped over on top of her. She was thirsty but fine. I took the feed dish out of there after that.

Thanks Kathy! She is the sweetest!
I saw Daron's emus last week. They are so cute and now I think Bryan wants some. He liked how they would follow you around.

Those are special pics. Love it!

Cyn, sorry you have a killer hen. I don't know if she's a bantam or not, but a bantam would sit on those eggs, ya think?

Cetawin, I thought I would need something like that, like a washer, silicone, etc. I can't wait to try it out.

Well my crew of young-uns, My recovered paralysis girl who lived in my bedroom is now living with the silkies. They raised a few Polish a few years ago, and think any Polish is their child. A Polish hen, a Houdan hen and a Polish roo are living together nicely. I have one Polish wasting in my hospital coop-still not suffering enough for rainbow bridge. And 5 Polish from a 2nd hatch, now about 12 weeks old, fat and sassy, with full crops all the time. Oh, and 2 Houdan roos living together. They each lived alone for weeks because of the fighting, but I guess they decided that eachother was better than nothing. One jumped into the pen to be with the other.

I'm looking forward to maybe having some to combine at some point. They are all very docile. They know me by my shoes, LOL.

Too many different things going on.

I found this stuff called Virkon, it's a disinfectant for hospitals and barns and farms. You mix it with water and spray it. I sprayed the ground in one pen several times, and kept it empty, for now.

Yeah its a boy too! oopsie

Jeff
Jeff, I think there may be a couple of boys in the five chicks. That's ok, I already have a home for them and if he does not want the boys then I have a freezer for them. And I do like the Delaweggers too.

Cyn, wow! That is just too close for comfort! Seems like someone in their 20's would know better too!
