Kathy! you must teach me your secrets of shopping - as a man i am not that savvy - heck i am still in the PJ's drinking coffee and just smashed the last pumpkin for the "kids" to eat on this first bitterly cold morning. Am going to Kohl's in a bit not sure if ya'll have those but their sales are the best and they go all day at intervals for us less than anxious shoppers! \\

I have to say i am amazed as well - just four of us for dinner - the orphans - so we just had a turkey breast my girls meticulously picked every bit of meat off that carcass -

Nella ..... Jackpot! I have 2 of those tater bins.... one says onions on it. I got them at a garage sale for $2. a year ago. Haven't used them yet..... now I will! Actually had dogfood in one for a while, just storing the bag.

Evil broody mama is lookin' good. My girls are so pale by day 21 that I feel sorry for them. She looks sweet.... I bet she will be a good mama.

Don't want to be a downer so am not posting in here much--who could keep up anyway?! You guys sure can gab! Nothing specific, just a black mood. I really hate this time of year, plus other stuff is just weird. I think I woke up on the wrong planet or something.

I hope yall all had a terrific Thanksgiving!! I don't wanna even think about food for a week, cept theres a fridge full of leftovers staring me in the face

Come home after spending the last 2 days with family west of Atlanta, to find two dead fox kits at the end of the driveway

Haven't seen hide nor hair of em up here before.... thankfully all the chickens/dogs and cows are safe. I'm so glad I put the dogs outside while we were gone.. Thats probably the only thing that kept em from trying to get in with the chickens. I really need to get my huntin license

and thin down the predator population here at the farm
