I'm so far behind! Spent the day with my niece over my house....I "watched" her while my parents working on repairing the threshold of the kitchen door. Sigh.

She absolutely LOVED Toby the old dog.

She liked Bella the poodle too. She found Bella's christmas sweater and wanted Bella to wear it.

Did you know that children carrying around a bag of pretzels are quite popular with animals? LOL

My niece decided the new kitty should be named Lucy. So she is!

They are new buddies.

Lucy is very tolerant.

They even watched the chickens out the window together.

I tell ya, all this cat has done today is sleep. She is very quiet. Just wants to lay in her bed and sleep. No interest in playing at all. Eat, sleep.....rinse and repeat.

She is my own personal Christmas Gift.

We're getting snow Saturday.

Nugget is on Day 20 Friday and I'm going to see if the feed store has some bantam chicks left I can pop under her to be companions to her (hopefully) three chicks. Then, coming home to batten down the hatches (no pun intended).

Cynthia, yall stay warm up there!!! They said we're supposed to get snow down here too, ugh! Though a white Christmas would be a once in a lifetime event down here!

70% chance for "wintery mix" here tonight and tomorrow. Blahhhh, snow .... I do not like snow, ice, sleet, nor freezing cold weather. Cool is fine, but not freeeeeeeezing!
