Look what I got at the feed store this morning! No porcelains that I could tell unless they were OEGB ones, but these appear to be single combed (teensy or I'd be sure) with feathered legs and beards. One is different than the other two, but could be a variation of the same color. Posted these in What Breed and Gender. Maybe Mille Fleur D'Uccle? She had black Silkies @ $5 each. These came in yesterday or today and later tonight, will give them to Nugget since tomorrow is Day 21 for her three eggs.

Here are the famous Baby and Rooster Cogburn. Baby wouldn't stand still so Linda threw her on Tom's shoulder. Note the red nail polish and blue bow. I think Cogburn is a Serama, not a Dutch, though:

That is exactly why I don't like Silkies, they make people do strange things. They are aliens I tell ya. Too bad Tom wasn't wearing his tin foil hat, bet he does and says strange things the next few days. Keep an eye on him.

Cyn,
Those chicks look sooooo cute! Thanks for the pictures of Baby and Rooster Cogburn ....... that just cracks me up that they live in the feed store! MUCH more fun and entertaining than a couple barn cats. I have to tell my feed store ..... I am sure they will get a chuckle. They work so hard keeping their place clean and organized. Really nice people.

I still think you should have got the Silkies!

Love the silkie and little rooster!

I had mille fleur d'uccles this year from TSC......they were colored like the brownish one. Not like the black with brown head ones. Possible those are Buff Brahma Bantams maybe? Not sure if the chick down color is all the same for mille d'uccles anywho. they could all be those! Obviously if bearded, then not Buff Brahma Bantams.
