Oh Gee Kathy! Ya
think??? Ah, yup! I'd say that most certainly is Floozy's progeny. Notice how she's looking around for the next stage of her great escape!!
What an incredibly long day!!
We're hosting a sleep over of Annie's best friend [Cassy: great kid, and I love her to pieces!] and Annie's fiance [Mario: Definite son in law materials there!
] and all day I've been running around trying to get all of the bedrooms straightened out so that everyone gets a good night sleep. Somehow, I don't think the kids plan on getting much sleep though. Oh to be that young again! *sigh*
I've spent the bulk of the day washing all of the bedding around here. I still can't get over the fact that the new washer and dryer have the capacity to wash the entire compliment of bedding for a king sized bed and still have room left over!
Is it wrong for one to be in love with their washer and dryer??
Best investment in household appliances we've ever made!
The roads were absolutely treacherous this afternoon when I finally got the time to zip out to the commissary at Fairchild AFB. I didn't get out of there until well past sundown, and those roads froze up in a heartbeat!
Talk about some white knuckled driving!
You know it's bad when your brand new studless snow tires are spinning and fishtailing all over the place. And gosh darn it! I
KNOW how to drive in snow and ice! It was a real challenge to say the least.
But, we now have another 2 weeks of food laid in, and no need to leave the house until that runs out. So, Let it Snow! Let it Snow! LET IT SNOW!!!!
I'm gonna head to bed, no matter what kind of shenanigans the kids are contemplating.
These tooth picks can only do so much towards keeping my eyes open ya know!
I hope everyone has a wonderful CHRISTmas eve.
Remember to hug your chickens, and I sure hope for all y'alls sake, you remembered some special treats for them on Christmas morning! Mine are going to have a special feast, including
sweet potatoes!!
