Amy, that is perfect! Put it on him and keep it on him. Let him where it overnight and running around all day....see how he adjusts to that.

I think so, too! He will adjust. Just give him a little time. The girls have no problem wearing their new attire, and I bet he will do okay with his new dickie, too!

Way to go, Laura! You are so creative! It looks wonderful!

Oh, believe me ladies! I fully intend to. Today in fact! I know I spoil him shamefully, but this is one of those few times I'm going to put my foot down! He needs this! Right now, my beautiful boy is only beautiful on the inside.

I want my beautiful on the outside boy back!

Those rotten women of his! They did this to him! I swear it was done out of pure jealousy! They couldn't stand the thought of him being a hundred times more beautiful than them and of him getting all of the loving!

I so wish Denny hadn't caught that stupid rabbit that is now sitting in the top unit of my Nella Brooder. I'd be putting Chief in there during the night and then pop the Dickie on him during the day. Anybody want one dumb bunny?

He [Emmett] is a sweet little guy, but bunnies just aren't my thing!

Amy, I hear ya......monroe the bunny is nice and all but I'm just not a bunny person. I found a new home for the girl bunny stella. Monroe would make a great house bunny. Cheyenne would ADORE him lol.

Awww Kathy! What an adorable box full of chicky fluff!! And so many different kinds! What all is in there? Soooo cute! Love the pictures of the geese too. Is that a wood duck nest box I see up in the tree of that second geese picture? Of course they love it at your place. Just look at it! Everything they could possibly want: Food, nesting materials, a lake/pond to rear their young on, and the chickens probably put them at ease whenever they are out. Geese always seem to gravitate towards hanging out with other species, except for when they're nesting. And then they don't want anyone around!

ETA: I hear ya Nella! Just what the heck are bunnies good for anyhow? As pets I mean. Beyond pets, they're an excellent source of lean protein. But as pets, really, what good are they? They don't fetch, they don't guard, they don't play, and despite popular belief by little kids, they do NOT produce eggs! So I ask you, what good are they?!?!? Definitely not my kind of critter.

I take very good care of Emmett, simply because 1) he's very sweet and 2) because he never really had a choice in the matter of his disposition. So, since he has come into my care, care for him I shall to the best of my abilities. But if anyone should come along who would like to have him and gives their most solemn promise to provide him with the best care and home they possibly can, then he'll be gone in the blink of an eye!

Amy, poor boy! I love the saddle, too! Great job Laura. I didn't know you made them. Hey Amy, I forgot who Emmett was! I'm sorry, but who? I remember you talking about him, though.

What a little bunch of joy those look like, Kathy. Good luck with the rest of the hatch. Those geese are gorgeous, they are migrating and landing in my yard a lot, too. I saw them land on top of a hospital yesterday! The broody mamas look so happy to be out. Love those Silkies! How old are the chicks now?
