LOVE THE HOOP HOUSE!! I want to make one of those! Trish, it's a little too soon to tell on the roo- and is it possible for you to get a more level picture that really shows his outline, and his tail? At this point it looks like he has a great wing set, and the hackle markings look like they are black, good yellow legs, but I can't see his body at the right angle, nor his tail - and you have what looks like two roos in the other picture, so I don't know if one is him or not.
Amy the hawk story was definitely worth the wait- what a good, brave boy you have!! Tell him Auntie Beth says he is a perfect boy and deserves a treat!

The hoop house is real nice and I intend to build one with help and use it for a green house or just build two. Now If it were attached to a run it could be covered with plastic for a winter run. I wish I had build that instead of what I've got now. It's tall enought to walk into if your 5' 5" like me. She covered it with hardware cloth and I don't see why it couldn't be used in warmer areas and pred proofed. Sorry I just think it's real nice.
They're definitely easy to put up, took us around 4 hours-but we're sure not builders! I want to put an apron around the bottom for more predator protection now that we've put wheels on it. We've been putting landscape timbers and concrete blocks on the bottom, but that is really getting old. I'd love to electrify the bottom, but that might be an expense for the spring. Amy, I forgot to mention this in the email I sent you. This thing is definitely easy enough to brace for snow, just a 2x4 across the top connecting to the door and the top of the framing on the other side with the roosts. If you get insane amts of snow, then a vertical brace in the middle would possibly work. You all are builders, so I've no doubt you'll come up with the best idea for that!
I am trying like heck to get a better pic of him, but I don't know what is going on with the mosquitos in cny tonight, they're insane! Literally swarms of them were around my head and the girls and boys are running around like their butts are on fire chasing and eating them! Quite the sight! But as soon as I can I will post a pic, will have to just break out the can of OFF! But you're right, all told I have three Del roos and two are definite contenders, the other might make a nice Sunday dinner when he gets fatter. I know Amy is probably just ready to smack me for that!! LOL Sorry! I have no guts, so he will probably be rehomed along with the other fat butt I've got running around here.

Woot...I am here for a few minutes....DH went out and slapped the hellz bellz out of hughesnet dish and we have connection for the moment. LOL So far he has threatened it with a gun, hit it, cleaned it, hit it and hit it again.
So, the abridged version...they wanted to charge to come out and fix it (it is out of aligment) and because I have the insurance plan, it would only be 29.99 instead of 125.00 for them to come out. HA! We ended up with the fee waives and $154.00 in credits on our account. They sad someone will call usi before the 9th. Can you believe that crap...a week to get a call to schedule the repair.
Kathy...my vet charged me $10 for a fecal float test on one of my bird' samples. It took no time at all to do either.
hopefully this posts because DH just got booted offline. Later all soon I hope to be back.
Well I am off
