Cyn, I'm so sorry to hear about Reba. I've seen the pictures you've posted of her and she's a beautiful little girl.

It's so tough when our girls start getting up there in age. I was just looking at the roster of my girls from nearly a year ago, [my aid to keeping track of who I had dusted and wormed and who I hadn't yet] and realized just how many of my "old" girls I have lost since then. Three since last September. And I still miss each of them.

I hope that Reba's condition is temporary and that she'll improve soon. Sometimes they can amaze the socks off of us. I hope this will be the case with Reba.

Please keep us posted on her condition. Prayers for Reba winging their way to you and her both!

Morning all...packing for a quick trip to FLA. "Gotta" go play golf with a customer. In all honesty, golf "aint my thing, but, boss says I gotta go"

At any rate, I meant to share this a few weeks ago and forgot. If any of you have a Dollar Tree store near you, I have found light bulbs there (100W and 60W) for $1 for a 4 pack. Sylvania bulbs. If you're like me you use a bunch during the brooding/incubating season....and the ones at the "Big Box" stores are like $4-5

I need to put you all to work. I KNOW the POWER OF PRAYER WORKS and I have a family in desparate need

A family in our church is in the LONG process of adopting 3 little girls; 4 months, 3 yrs old and 4 yrs old. Parents of all 3 children are the same (ie, the girls are all sisters). The youngest HAS been adopted as the father AND mother released their rights to the child. However, the father has been "fighting" about releasing his rights to the older two although he cannot care for them (long story). At any rate, the father has has unsupervised visits during the time my friends have been "foster parenting" these girls. Well today was a "visit" day. He NEVER returned the children, has fled and authorities fear he has left the state. BUT, since the police don't feel like the children are in danger of "death" they will not issue an Amber Alert. My friends are absolutely devastated as you can imagine. Worried to death about the girls and the trauma they may be going thru.

PLEASE lift this family up in your prayers. Ask that the adoptive family find comfort and strength in this horrible situation and that the little girls can feel the strength, love, reassurance and compassion that only the Lord can provide in times like these....I am certain that they are scared to death.
