I'd say yeah, probably. They can also get a case of the sneezes when they scarf down scratch too fast. Caroline is really bad for that!

Cyn should I seperate her or be giving her anything special? When should I start thinking vet or medication?

She sounds like she has an old fashioned head cold sorta...no discharge or anything just sounds like she has a stuffy sneezy nose.


Okay and yes I panic at the thought of anything respiratory so I know am I probably over reacting...BUT

Well, usually, you'd separate her, but if there are no actual discharges and no one else is doing it, could be just something that went down the wrong pipe or up her nose. Check up her nares with a flashlight (yeah, I know it's not that easy, LOL). Nelda sort of did that yesterday and I snatched her up and went to the house. By the time I got up there, she had worked it out. They were eating scratch at the time. Any dusty anything can make that happen.

I shall look. If there is anything in there, should I separate her?

I mean can they get a respiratory infection yada yada like a human who has gotten wet and cold?

Kathy! That's great news!!! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for that third egg. And isn't it only fitting that they should make you wait on pins and needles? Royalty, after all, does have that certain attitude that everyone should wait hand and foot on them!

We do have some of the prettiest country around for bike riding. Knee's in the breeze!!

Coronation Sussex....aren't those the ones that look sort of like a Colombian Rock, with a dash of Delaware, and of course some Sussex in them? Anybody have a picture handy of an adult roo or hen?

I'm just trying to picture what they look like. So many breeds, so little time, ya know! I can't possibly remember what each and every one of them look like.

Though I do seem to recall they are basically a black and white bird, aren't they?
