Thank you, Gloria Jean- it really makes a difference- I didn't realize how much "work" he did everyday- poor boy.

I wish I HAD a broody right now, so I could stick Del eggs and see if I could get at least a couple more Luke babies. Little Emma is a pretty, pretty thing-

Beth, as you know, I still have my three Delaware ladies and Isaac. The next broody we decide to give eggs to will be getting Delaware eggs. If you want those chicks when I have a broody, you're welcome to them. Interesting that Fern seems to be going broody right now, though I really wasn't thinking of having chicks this late in the year.

I don't know anything about showing eggs.

But I got bored and decided to start building another coop tonight. I had made a 4x4x4 frame recently but couldn't decide what to do with it....here it is being used as a hanger for my bucket feeders.

But tonight found some extra plywood i had bought a while back and had a brainy moment........worked on it for a couple hours and got three walls done......will do the last wall with large door, frame up the pop door opening, add roof and roosts and nest box and then wha la....new coop. Should be perfect for a small bantam breeding flock.

Even got to try out my new jigsaw. bought it a while back but hadn't used it yet. Should cost about $80-100 when all complete. I have some fence panels I built a while back to make temporary pens.....

and plan to use those off the side to make a 4x8 or 8x8 pen. I have enough panels for both configrations but finding a flat spot in my yard is easier said than done.

Maybe once I'm done I can finally finish my rabbit mansion?

Daaayyuuuum Girl! You is just such a busy little Bee! Ya wanna come out to my place? I've got lots of room. I've even got lots of materials laying around. You could build to your little hearts content. Heck! I'll even feed ya while you're here!

You can build anything you want! Anything at all! Just so long as somewhere in there is a 4 x 6 x 6 coop for the boys and a covered run to go with it!
